Free faster broadband in Wales with the Access Broadband Cymru Subsidy Scheme

1. First off, you should check if you are already able to receive a superfast broadband service via the Superfast Cymru postcode and landline checker.
2. If you can't, then visit the ABC Scheme page for Homes and Businesses and you'll be given full information about the scheme and be able to download an application form.
3. If you want to choose us as your new and much faster broadband supplier, you then need to find out your property is covered by our 4G broadband services - and these days over 98% of all UK home and business premises already are, including very rural and remote properties. So just give us a call on 03333 447710 or drop us an email at [email protected] letting us know your full 7 digit postcode and we'll be able to check 4G coverage at your exact location for you. And don't worry if your smartphone only shows flaky 4G reception - because we fit a high gain external antenna, which latches onto available 4G signals, amplifies them and then pipes them down to a 4G router inside your property. 4G coverage is being extended quite literally week by week, so even if your location is not covered right at this moment, it's well worth checking back on a very regular basis.
4. Then if you are covered, either just drop us an email at [email protected] or give us a call on 03333 447710. We'll talk you through everything, answer any questions you may have and if you're happy, we'll then send you an official quotation.
5. Now complete the appropriate application form and send it into the Welsh Government - please note that you will need to include the quotation that we'll have sent you for the installation and set up of your chosen 4G service along with that application form.
6. The Welsh Government will review your application and if everything's ok, they'll send you a Formal Offer of Funding letter to confirm that the equipment, installation and setup of your 4G broadband service with us will be fully covered under the ABC Scheme.
7. Once you've received that letter, just get in touch with us and we'll do all the rest - and usually get you up and running with 4G broadband within a couple of weeks.
8. Once your 4G service has been installed and is up and running, the last thing you'll need to do is to send documentation proving that your new broadband service is up and running properly into the Welsh Government. You need to send in a copy of the invoice that we'll have sent you in relation to the installation and set-up of your new 4G service, plus a copy of a speed test from speedtest.net showing the performance levels of your new service. Upon receipt, the Welsh Government will then make payment to us on your behalf against that invoice and everything's then completed.

Please note that Step 8 above is reallyimportant. If you don't send the required supporting document into the Welsh Government after you're set up and running, under the ABC Subsidy Scheme rules, you yourself will be fully liable to pay off that invoice for the supply, installation and set up of equipment. So... don't forget!
